Consulting involves meeting with the client to reveal the barriers to team success by assessing the current and desired state, identifying current strengths and areas for improvement, and then developing recommendations to move forward. It utilizes evidence-based methodologies and tools in the behavioural sciences to effectively shift and align attitudes, behaviours and actions to achieve business objectives, while building a culture of psychological safety, teamwork and collaboration, and higher performance.
The consulting areas I focus on are primarily related to leader and team development. Team development helps to enhance psychological safety, reduce conflict, increase collaboration, and build a stronger team dynamic which results in greater cohesion, commitment, and higher discretionary performance.
